Xiaomi’s Poco introduced the Poco M6 Pro 5G in India last August, equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, a 90Hz LCD screen, a dual 50MP camera setup, and a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 18W charging. Today, the brand has announced a global release of a 4G version of the phone.
The global edition of the Poco M6 Pro is driven by the Helio G99-Ultra SoC, exclusively supporting LTE connectivity. Running on Android 13-based MIUI 14 (with plans for HyperOS in the future), it offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of expandable storage. The smartphone features a 6.67″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display, safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 5, and includes a fingerprint scanner beneath, along with a centrally positioned punch-hole housing the 16MP selfie camera.
On the rear, a triple camera setup comprises a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The primary camera, equipped with OIS, introduces a feature called Film Camera, providing 12 film filters and eight film frames for enhanced creative options and easy sharing on social media.
Other noteworthy features of the international Poco M6 Pro include a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging (reaching 0-100% in just 44 minutes), USB-C compatibility, and an IP54 rating. The smartphone also boasts dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, and an NFC chip.
Available in black, blue, and purple, the global Poco M6 Pro offers two memory configurations – 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, priced at $199 and $249, respectively. Both variants will be available for purchase starting January 11 through leading e-commerce platforms, featuring an early bird discount of $20.
