Sonic Elevation Unleashed: Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Elevate Performance with Latest Firmware Boost!

Samsung’s flagship wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, have just received a firmware upgrade, marked as version R510XXUOAXA2, enhancing their performance and stability. With a modest file size of 5.89MB, users can easily update their Galaxy Buds 2 Pro using the Galaxy Wearable app.

Although the rollout of this update is typically gradual, varying across countries, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro owners can check for its availability through the Galaxy Wearable app. To do so, simply navigate to Earbuds settings » Earbuds software update, and tap Download and install. This January 2024 update primarily focuses on improving the overall stability of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

Launched in mid-2022, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro serves as Samsung’s pinnacle in wireless earbud technology. Boasting a dual-drive setup and three microphones in each earbud, these flagship earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and Auracast. Additional features include AAC, SBC, and Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi, coupled with an impressive IPX7 water resistance rating. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro also integrates advanced functionalities such as 360 Audio, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Dolby Atmos, and seamless device switching within the Samsung ecosystem.

Despite more than 1.5 years since their initial release, Samsung is yet to unveil a successor alongside the Galaxy S24 series. However, rumors suggest a potential launch of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro later this year, possibly coinciding with the debuts of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Stay tuned for the latest updates from Samsung’s audio innovation realm.
