In an exciting development, Genshin Impact has confirmed the inclusion of two new characters, Navia and Chevreuse, for version 4.3. While the introduction of Furina and Charlotte is still pending in the upcoming update 4.2, the official social media accounts have given us a sneak peek at the characters that will join the playable roster in approximately 6 to 7 weeks.

Genshin Impact’s frequent update cycle has allowed HoYoyverse to consistently expand the list of playable characters. Since the arrival of the Fontaine update, the game has introduced nine new playable characters across four updates, including Navia and Chevreuse.

The official social media accounts for Genshin Impact have verified the inclusion of two highly anticipated characters, Navia and Chevreuse. Navia, in particular, has been a character of great interest ever since her captivating appearance in a cutscene during the Genshin Impact 4.0 update.

The official storyline has now confirmed her role as the president of Spina di Rosula, an organization dedicated to assisting the people of Fontaine with various matters. This organization was founded by her father, Callas, and Navia has taken on the role of President following her father’s passing.

One exciting aspect of Navia’s character is that she will be a new Geo character, making her the first Geo user to join the roster since Yunjin’s release back in January 2022. Although her official splash art does not depict a specific weapon, there are rumors that she will wield a Geo claymore. According to credible leaks, Navia will serve as a sub-DPS character, with the potential to become the main DPS if players invest in her constellation levels.

Navia’s Elemental Skill will reportedly allow her to enter a unique mode where she transforms her iconic umbrella into a firearm, enabling her to engage her enemies from a distance. During this state, Navia can absorb nearby Crystallize shards, providing various buffs based on their elemental properties. Her Elemental Burst will allow her to deploy a special cannon that deals Geo damage to nearby foes and generates Crystallize shards.

As for Chevreuse, not much information has been revealed in the official storyline. She is known as the current Captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol and has been confirmed as a Pyro character, with rumors suggesting she will be a four-star unit. Both Navia and Chevreuse are set to debut in version 4.3, following Genshin Impact’s typical update schedule, which should be around December 20.
