After a triumphant return to the Indian market with the Honor 90’s debut last September, Honor India (also known as HTech) is gearing up for yet another exciting release. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Honor India, recently took to social media to drop hints about the imminent launch of a new smartphone.
While Sheth remained tight-lipped about the specific model, the design cues strongly suggest it could be the much-anticipated X9b, unveiled in October. According to Honor, this upcoming device is set to redefine expectations for durability and reliability in smartphones.
The Honor X9b boasts the powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, runs on the latest Android 13-based MagicUI 7.2, and offers configurations with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Its impressive features include a 6.78″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display and a robust 5,800 mAh battery with 35W fast charging.
On the camera front, the X9b stands out with a 108MP primary camera on the rear, complemented by 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lenses. For selfies and video calls, it sports a 16MP front-facing camera.
