In recent weeks, Samsung has been steadily expanding its participation in the One UI 6 beta program, and today, it introduces two new additions: the 2021 models, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.
The beta program is now live for these two devices in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. If you’re in the area and wish to participate in the beta program, follow these simple steps. Access the Samsung Members app and click on the prominent One UI 6 banner at the top. Fill in the necessary details, and once you’ve completed this step, proceed to Settings > Software Update. Select “Download and Install,” and you’ll soon receive the latest One UI 6 beta, which is based on Android 14, as an over-the-air software update.
Keep in mind that this download is likely to be around 3GB, so ensure that you have sufficient storage space and a fast internet connection to avoid lengthy download times.
Simultaneously, Samsung is diligently working on the stable release of One UI 6 for the Galaxy S23 series, which may be available in the coming weeks. Older devices such as the Fold3 and Flip3 may have to wait a bit longer. However, if Samsung can maintain a similar update release schedule as last year, the wait should not be too extended.
